Expanding line for battery Grid 

Lead Strip Production Line
This line is specially used for lead strip's automatic production with the advantages of high automation, productive efficiency & precision, good energy saving & perfect crystallization.
1. Equipment Composition:
This production line consists of lead ingot conveyor, lead pot, lead strip caster, rolling system, drier, winding machine, scrap conveyor and electrical system.
2. Equipment Description:
This lead strip production line is automatic with high production efficiency, which can run for 24 hours; production efficiency can reach up to 2 tons/hour. The adjustment is convenient, equipped with four working modes, i.e. free mode, inter-lock mode, series connection mode and jogging mode, the operator can adjust and control conveniently. It adopts human-machine interaction to have dynamic monitoring; each main motor has encoder, which ensures the speed of the whole line matches each other. Each equipment can be controlled separately or has coordinated control, ensuring the convenience of commissioning and maintenance. The key parts are equipped with sensor, which guarantees timely information feedback to ensure continuous production and the operation's safety.
2.1 Lead feeding system: composed of lead ingot conveyor, lead melting furnace and heat preservation furnace. The lead melting furnace is low temperature furnace, effectively reducing the generation and emission of lead smoke. The heat preservation furnace adopts fully enclosed structure, equipped with dust removal ducting, ensuring the stability of lead liquid temperature. The lead furnace heating method and capacity depends on the user's requirement.
2.2 Lead strip caster: it adopts steel annular casting mold. The cast wheel will rotate clockwise, the grooves will become the cooling mold's three walls. The 4th wall of casting mold is composed of one soft steel strip which rotates around the annular mold, and one driven wheel with diameter of 1100mm. The lead liquid will enter into the strip caster through the lead transport pipe. The lead liquid which flows to the casting hopper is controlled by the automatic level control mechanism which installed on the hopper. The annular mold adopts water cooling for heat exchange, automatically controlled by closed-loop system composed of PLC and a series of throttle pressure maintaining valve, which can ensure the strip caster to have continuous and stable high quality production. 
2.3 Movable rail: the support for movable rail can rotate 80°, which can make enough room for the operator to do the maintenance or commissioning work for the strip caster and manual shearer. The rail top is installed with pinch roll device driven by the pneumatic motor, automatically controlled by the PLC. The machine is also equipped with angular displacement sensor, for coordinating the rotation speed of rolling system and strip caster, ensuring they will match each other.
2.4 Horizontal cutting machine: this machine will be used at the beginning of casting and at the end of casting, or in case of emergency (for example, when rolling is stopped). If the rolling stop time is limited, then this machine can prevent the casting process from stopping. The machine has auto/manual mode of the cutting.
2.5 Rolling machine: this machine has 6pcs dual-roller rolling stations. The first 5pcs dual-roller linkage has fixed speed ratio, this device can be started from the control station, with four different operation modes to ensure the commissioning and maintenance and production requirement. The last rolling station can be controlled separately, ensuring the lead strip precision. Each rolling station is equipped with detection device, ensuring the machine will stop automatically when tre is failure during strip rolling, ensuring the safety for both equipment and operations.
2.6 Cleaning and drying machine: it is used to clean the remaining emulsion on the surface of the lead strip through strong air flow. It ensures that there is no damp or oil stains on the surface of the lead strip, ensuring the lead strip can be stored long time with good quality. The cleaned emulsion will be collected into the bottom tank and finally transferred into the emulsion tank.
2.7 Flame trimming machine: this machine consists of base, edge trimming, horizontal shearing, transmission deice, protective device, pneumatic part and electrical control part. The running speed of this machine will be matched with the caster and rolling machine via the sensor and PLC. This machine will cut the lead strip while the winding machine has malfunction, which can save time for the troubleshooting for the winding machine.
2.8 Connection roller: the conveyor is used as transition for trimming machine and automatic winding machine, which includes speed detection sensor, to control the calculation for winding speed.
2.9 Automatic winding machine: in order to ensure the complete lead strip casting line will run continuously and automatically, the winding machine is equipped with one base and two separate racks, the winding devices are installed on the racks. These two sets of devices can wind the lead strip uninterruptedly, and the strip rolls will be unloaded through the unloading device. The switch, transmission and winding are all controlled automatically. The connection of the winding machine is also automatic, controlled by the procedure.
