Lead Wide Strip Caster Machine (360 type)
1. Composition:
Lead feeding system (including lead ingot loading, lead furnace, waste furnace, control system), lead strip caster, horizontal cutting machine, rolling machine, cleaning and drying machine, flame cutting machine, conveyor, automatic winding machine, operation platform, electrical control system.
2. Equipment Description:
This lead strip production line is automatic with high production efficiency, which can run for 24 hours, production efficiency can reach up to 5 tons/hour. The adjustment is convenient, equipped with four working modes, i.e. free mode, inter-lock mode, series connection mode and jogging mode, the operator can adjust and control conveniently. It adopts human-machine interaction to have dynamic monitoring, each main motor has encoder, which ensures the speed of the whole line matches each other. Each equipment can be controlled separately or has coordinated control, ensuring the convenience of commissioning and maintenance. The electric control system adopts medium PLC, stable and reliable, realizing internet online adjustment, diagnosis and repair. There is no need to wait for the after-sales service person.
2.1 Lead feeding system: composed of lead ingot conveyor, lead melting furnace and waste furnace. The lead melting furnace will smelt the lead ingot, the waste furnace will smelt the scrap. Both of the furnaces can be coordinated to supply lead for the whole line.
2.2 Lead strip caster: this mechanism adopts horizontal dual-roller casting structure. The cooling liquid inside the dual-roller will solidify the lead liquid and make it rotate with the roller, the lead liquid will be rolled into uniform lead strip through the dual-roller gap. The cooling inside the dual-roller adopts water cooling as heat exchange, the control is automatic via the PLC and close-loop system composed by a series of pressure stabilization valves, ensuring the lead scrip caster can cast high quality lead strip continuously and stably.
2.3 Horizontal cutting machine: this machine will be used at the beginning of casting and at the end of casting, or in case of emergency (for example, when rolling is stopped). If the rolling stop time is limited, then this machine can prevent the casting process from stopping. The machine has auto/manual mode of the cutting.
2.4 Rolling machine: this machine has 7 dual-roller rolling stations. This device can be started from the control station, with four different operation modes to ensure the commissioning and maintenance and production requirement.
2.5 Cleaning and drying machine: this machine is used to clean the remaining emulsion on the surface of the lead strip through strong air flow. It ensures that there is no damp or oil stains on the surface of the lead strip, ensuring the lead strip can be stored long time with good quality. The cleaned emulsion will be collected into the bottom tank and finally transferred into the emulsion tank.
2.6 Flame cutting machine: this machine will cut the lead strip as per the setting width, and the scrap will be smashed and returned back to the waste furnace. This machine also includes the smashing device, the lead strip will be cut off when changing the winding for the double-winding machine. It also ensures that the machine can have emergency troubleshoot without stopping when the winding machine has malfunction. The running speed of this machine will be matched with the caster and rolling machine via the sensor and PLC.
2.7 Conveyor: the conveyor is used to convey the lead strip (after flame cutting) to the double stations winding machine. Manual or automatic winding can be selected as per the procedure setting.
2.8 Automatic winding machine: the winding machine is composed of two separate winding devices. These two sets of devices can wind the lead strip uninterruptedly, and the strip rolls will be unloaded through the unloading device. The switch, transmission and winding are all controlled automatically. The connection of the winding machine is also automatic, controlled by the procedure, ensuring the automatic and continuous working of the whole line.
2.9 Electrical control system: the electrical control system is mainly composed of core control unit (PLC, human-machine interface), executive component (frequency converter, servo motor, pneumatic system), approach switch and speed detector. This system is with high automation and good stability, switch control of manual or automatic for each part can be realized, the operation is convenient and reliable. It also realizes online interconnection control, diagnosis and repair.
